The 25-year-old Bachelorette star made a joke on Instagram while attending the 2019 CMA Awards on Wednesday (November 13) at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn.
On Wednesday, the current Dancing with the Stars contestant attended the County Music Association Awards in Nashville with her pro partner Alan Bersten — and she delivered a clever dig toward her Bachelorette ex, Jed Wyatt.
E! News Carissa Culiners’ marveled over Brown’s stunning white dress and said to the reality star on her Instagram story, “You’re finding a husband tonight, girl.
“Look who I already found! Oh my god! Princess, you finding a husband tonight, girl. She’s ready to get married. There are some good options tonight,” E! News’ Carissa Culiner had said to Hannah after running into her on Instagram.
Hannah said that she likes country music…and a real musician.
The reference was immediately interpreted by fans as a dig at former contestant Jed Wyatt, who is a singer from Nashville.
Hannah famously announced on the show’s finale they were no longer together amid reports he was already in a relationship before going on the dating show After Jed temporarily won Hannah‘s heart on The Bachelorette.
Stevens told PEOPLE that she regretted letting Wyatt go on the show knowing he’d be deceitful after the show aired.
While Wyatt has kept a low profile since the Bachelorette finale, he only had good things to say about Brown in an interview with PEOPLE prior to her season of DWTS kicking off.
Wyatt said, “I have no doubt that she’ll do well there and I do wish her the best,”. Brown is among the final five of DWTS currently, along with Ally Brooke, James Van Der Beek, Lauren Alaina, and Kel Mitchell.
He said: “life has changed, perspective and lessons were learned, I just want to pursue my life as Jed, in a new path without carrying the baggage of The Bachelorette.”
