Microsoft’s latest announcements have come up with an exciting range of hardware at their yearly Surface event. Along with the hardware, Microsoft also revealed additional features and new variety to the Microsoft Office.

Transcribe audio files in Word:
Microsoft recently revealed Dictation feature to Office apps which enabled users to dictate rather than typing out sentences. With the new addition, Microsoft is taking it to a whole new level with audio recording and transcription.

Input data into Excel using a digital pen
As Microsoft announced on stage, as far as the digital pen is concerned, Excel is generally left out. This will soon change as Microsoft’s new addition will allow users to add data into Excel using digital pen including Surface Pen.
Microsoft mentions that this should be extremely helpful for the first-line workers and students who work on the Excel sheets on the go and have to balance their laptops in one hand while typing in the data.
Data entry via a digital pen will be ready for use in Excel for the web and desktop in spring 2020 for Office 365 subscribers.
Create and reply to the comments using a digital pen or the voice
Microsoft is also adding another useful feature to Word soon. The company is widening its Ink Editor to add comments as well. Microsoft Office users will soon be able to add comments using a digital pen or with the help of the dictation facility.

Surface Earbuds integration with Powerpoint
Microsoft has also revealed the new Surface Earbuds which will be hitting the market later this year. Alongside the Surface Earbuds, Microsoft also revealed a couple of handy features for Powerpoint users.
The Earbuds will be able to function effectively with Live Captions and Subtitles and Presenter Coach in PowerPoint.
