Kehlani & YG Make their Relationship Official With first Public Appearance At NYFW
In a bold move that has taken the internet by surprise, YG and Kehlani have made their relationship public with a red carpet debut during NYFW.
The two stepped out as an item for the first time since rumors started that they were romantically involved, which previously made rounds on social media.
The R&B songstress and “Go Loko” rapper were photographed holding hands as they made their way to the Kith show together on Thursday night (Sept. 5), as captured on video by TMZ. Kehlani seemed to confirm the news herself.
When a cameraman asked if their outing together means “it’s official,” Kehlani coyly confirmed their romance by replying, “Mmmhmm.”

Though she was mum to the celebrity news publication, she took a different route on her Instagram. The While We Wait singer posted a carousel of coupled-up flicks with her new beau, showing the two exchanging smooches and warm embraces. “Cats out the bag,” she captioned the post.
The news comes a few months after the pair separately welcomed their bundle of joys into the world. YG’s longtime partner, Catelyn Sparks, gave birth to their second daughter, Vibe Jackson, back in July. The news was revealed after media personality Karen Civil posted a photo of the 29-year-old rapper’s 3-year-old daughter, Harmony, holding Vibe, who was wrapped in a blanket, on her official Twitter account.
“Congratulations to YG on the birth of his second baby daughter Vibe Jackson!” Civil tweeted. Kehlani gave birth to her first child, baby girl Adeya Nomi. She welcomed Adeya in an at-home birth this March following an October reveal that she was expecting.
“This weekend our blessed messenger arrived solid and immaculate inside and out in our restroom at home,” the “Gangsta” warbler wrote in a presently erased post. “Unmedicated homebirth was unquestionably the hardest yet most dominant thing I’ve at any point done.”
