Ricky Pamela Lake is an American actress, television presenter, and producer. He was born on September 21, 1968.
Tracy Turnblade was best known for the lead role in the Lake 1988 film Hairspray. He is best known for his talk show, which aired internationally from September 1993 to May 2004.
Ricky Lake wrote “Liberated and Free, Me” in a caption on Facebook. In a long post, the actress revealed that she has decided to shave her hair completely after fighting for 30 years.
She shared a short version of the caption she used on Facebook, along with additional photos (taken by Amanda Dame) on Instagram.
“First things first, I’m not sick. (Bank),” the lake began. “I am not a mid-life crisis. Even though I am suffering, I am not emotionally broken. I have been suffering in silence for over 30 years. I am finally ready to share my secret.”
The Lake Post revealed that she has suffered from hair loss since the beginning of her career.
“Ever since I played Tracy Turnblad in the original Meyersray in 1988, and she has tripled and teased my healthy virgin hair every 2 weeks during filming, my hair has never been the same. (Yes, I have all the hair in my picture). From hairspray to hairless,” she wrote.
“In my case, I believe that my hair loss is due to many factors, yo-yo dieting, hormonal birth control and severe weight fluctuations over the years, my pregnancy, genetics, stress and hair color and extensions. As a talent in various shows and films, whether it’s DWTS or Even though it was my talk show, it also affected my fine hair.”
