Susan Kelechi Watson came all dolled up for the Emmys and she looked drop-dead gorgeous. She walked on the red carpet with her brother. Well, this was not her first red carpet but something was off during this occasion.
She was extra happy and extra chirpy and she seemed to be flaunting herself. Not that we are complaining but we would definitely like to know the reason.
There were speculations that she had got engaged with her fellow actor Jaime Lincoln. One of the reporters popped up the question and she was very outgoing about it. She became cheerful and showed her ring to them while confirming that she had gotten engaged with Jaime Lincoln.
She also revealed the cute fact. She said that she had a cute name for her engagement ring and that was ‘Marina’. The ring seemed to be somewhere around $10,000 to $20,000. The ring has a 3-carat oval rock added on a delicate diamond-accented band in platinum or white gold.
Along with revealing her ring she also stated the reason why she chose her engagement ring’s name to be ‘Marina’. She revealed that her partner or now fiancé took her to the Marina Del Rey which is why she chose the name ‘Marina’ for her beautiful engagement ring. “He took me to Marina Del Rey as part of the day,” stated Susan Kelechi Watson while she explained the origin of the whole scenario.
The to be bride and to be groom also confirmed the whole engagement thing through posting their picture on Instagram. Their posts were captioned as ‘They’ll say its love And they’ll know its love For when they call its name it will answer to love Without hesitation.’
Susan Kelechi Watson came dressed up in a red Badgley Mischa dress. The sleeves of the dress were off the shoulder and pink in color.
