The third season of The Crown is not finished yet and we are already thinking about the fourth season. The costumes, the drama, the shadows! make us think about it. isn’t it?
Here’s what we know so far about Crown Season Four.
When does it come?
The difference between the second and third seasons of The Crown is two years – with plenty of time for fans to wait and with Peter Morgan and the production team playing all the roles.
Happily, we can’t wait any longer for the fourth season. With the back-to-back filming of the third and fourth seasons, it’s already well underway.
When does this happen?
Season three ends at the Queen’s Silver Jubilee in 1977, so it’s expected to be picked up soon. It spans the 1980s with a set of historical events that take place in the late 1980s.
Previously, season 1947 to 1955, season two was from 1957 to 1963, and season three was the longest period from 1964 to 1977.
There are no whispers about castings for Sarah Ferguson of the Duchess of York who married Prince Andrew in 1986, so Season Four may not be as good as it could be.
Who’s in it?
Season 3 stars Olivia Coleman as Queen Elizabeth, Tobias Menzies as Prince Philip, Helena Bonum-Carter as Princess Margaret, Josh O’Connor as Prince Charles, and Princess Anne as Erin Kherty
There is no official word on whether Emerald Fennell will return as Camilla Shander, and now Camilla Parker-Bowles is set for the fourth season, but Charles appears to be becoming a more important character.
But everyone is really excited about the two new additions to the cast.
The first is Emma Corinne, a little-known actress who played the high profile role of Princess Diana.
Then Gillian Anderson will play the role of Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.

We know that Australian actor Richard Roxburgh will play our PM Bob Hawk, a character he once played in a Hawk TV movie.
We know that the Queen’s relationship with Mrs. Thatcher will be examined.
When the Crown first opened to audiences three years ago, it emphasized the relationship between Buckingham Palace and 10 Downing Street. And the first season spent a lot of time with Queen and Winston Churchill.
In the third season, they turned a bit, because the prime minister came and went, but the third season returned to Queen and Harold Wilson.
Thatcher served as the UK’s prime minister from 1979 to 1990, so the relationship between these two powerful women makes for an interesting dynamic.
The fourth season also features the wedding of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer, who was just 20 when she moved from the Isle to St Paul’s Cathedral.
So this show should give a glimpse of his courtship and Naples and at least Prince William’s birth.
One of the shows that were definitely covered in the show was Charles and Diana’s 1983 tour of Australia. The paparazzi (in Spain) of the actors filming the scenes are already out.
This season is likely to deal with the murder of Lord Mountbatten (Charles Dance), who was killed by an IRA bomb in 1979.
Will there be season five?
There is no official word on Netflix’s The Crown for more than four seasons, but Morgan has previously said that the show will last six seasons, which will last until today.
Andrew and the fake marriage and their subsequent divorce, Diana and Charles’s divorce, all things, the burning of the Windsor Castle, the death of Diana and the aftermath of the new generation of royals are still significant events.
